Case Study - City Centre Property Developer

Simple Utility Networks supported a city centre property developer with a construction project that involved converting two retail units into a new development comprising three apartments, two retail units and a shared area for access. While the local authority had a knowledge and understanding of the work involved, due to the multiple connections and complexity of the project, they appointed Simple Utility Networks as their installation partner.

We carried out all the necessary planning and applications to the relevant Distribution Network Operators (DNOs). Along with installing electricity, water supplies, and meters, we negotiated multiple domestic and commercial contracts for all parties to the project. Along with the energy connections, we handled the planning of works required on the owner's private land, including excavation and reinstatement of trench works and installing sufficient ducting and pipework to comply with regulations.
